Terms of Use

These Terms govern access to and use of Parlo. They apply to artists, designers, clients, and any other account holders using the service.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Parlo, you agree to these Terms of Use and our posted policies. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Eligibility

You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement and use Parlo only in compliance with applicable law. Accounts must be created with accurate information, and you are responsible for activity under your account.

Parlo's Role

Parlo facilitates artwork placement, circulation, communication, and related payment flows. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Parlo does not take ownership of artwork listed by artists.

Artwork Authenticity

Artists are solely responsible for the originality, authenticity, accuracy, condition disclosures, and lawful right to place artwork through Parlo. Parlo may remove artwork or suspend accounts if authenticity or eligibility concerns arise.

Physical Artwork Requirement

Parlo is intended for original physical artwork. By adding artwork to the collection, you confirm that the piece is a tangible original work and that its details, dimensions, and media are accurately represented.

Payments and Fees

Placement fees, swap fees, circulation-related charges, and other stated fees are due as described at the point of confirmation. Payment processing may be handled by third-party providers. You authorize Parlo and its providers to collect the applicable amounts for confirmed transactions.

Placement and Circulation Terms

Artwork placed through Parlo may move through request, approval, payment, shipment, swap, and return workflows. Availability, reservations, and timing are governed by the current workflow state shown in the product. A confirmed placement or swap may reserve artwork for a limited time while payment is completed.

Damage and Liability

You are responsible for reasonable care of artwork while it is in your possession or under your control. Damage, loss, or material condition changes may result in additional charges, reimbursement obligations, or other remedies available under law. Parlo may facilitate communication and workflow tracking, but responsibility for damage remains with the parties involved as applicable.

Prohibited Content and Conduct

You may not use Parlo to post unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or harmful content; misrepresent artwork; interfere with platform operations; attempt unauthorized access; or misuse another person's account, data, or messages.

Termination

Parlo may suspend or terminate access, remove content, cancel workflows, or limit features where necessary to protect users, artwork, the service, or legal compliance. You may stop using Parlo at any time, but outstanding obligations survive termination.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law rules, except where mandatory law requires otherwise.
